Secure transfer of data
We implement the appropriate technical and organizational security measures to ensure the optimal protection of the data stored by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. The security levels are continuously reviewed in collaboration with security experts and adapted to new security standards.
The data exchange to and from our website is encrypted. We provide https as a transfer protocol for our website, and always use the current encryption protocols. It is also possible to use alternative communication channels (e.g. surface mail).

Purposes and legal bases of data processing

We do not transfer your personal data to service providers or group companies outside the European Economic Area.
Period of data storage
We store your data for as long as such is required for the relevant processing purposes. Please note that numerous retention statutory periods require that data must be stored for a specific period of time. This relates in particular to retention obligations for commercial or fiscal purposes (e.g. commercial code, tax code, etc.). The data will be routinely deleted after use unless a further period of retention is required.

Server-log-data
The website-provider automatically collects and stores information in so called server-log-data, which are transmitted to us by your browser. These are:

- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time the server-request is issued
- IP-address
For reasons of technical security (in particular to safeguard against attempts to attack of our web server), this data is stored in accordance with Article 6 (1) lit f GDPR. Anonymization takes place no later than after seven days by abbreviating the IP address so that no reference is made to the user.
We gather this information due to our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
Automated decisions in individual cases
We do not use purely automated processing to make decisions.
2. Cookies (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR)
Our website uses “cookies” at various locations, which serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser (locally on your hard disk).

Security of our website by using cloudflare (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR)
On our website we use the content delivery network service of Cloudflare Inc. (101 Townsend St San Francisco, CA 94107). From a technical point of view, the connection from your device to our website is being redirected to the cloudflare-network. This enables cloudflare to detect attacks on our website. Anyhow, due to our TLS-encryption, which is always enabled, cloudflare does not have access to data provided by you while using our website. When accessing our website, cloudflare-cookies will be stored in your web browser. Cloudflare collects statistic data regarding your visit on our website. Access-data includes: Name of the website accessed, data, date and time of the access, traffic transmitted, notice of a successful access, browser type including version, user’s operation system, referrer URL (website visited before), IP-address and the requesting provider. Cloudflare uses the protocol-data for statistical analyses for the purposes of operating, securing and optimizing the offer (e.g. to identify multiple malicious accesses in connection with denial of service-attacks (DDoS) or to identify multiple legitimate accesses of multiple devices using the same IP-address). We use this service, so secure the availability of our website, to protect ourselves from cyber-attacks and to optimize the loading-time of our website.

3. Analyzing tools and advertisements
On the website www.krs-seigert.de we do not operate any behavior analyzation tools.
4. Plugins and tools
Google Web Fonts (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR)
Our website uses Google Fonts in order to display external graphic designs. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA. To enable the display of certain graphic elements, a connection to the google server in the USA will be established, when you access our website. Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is based on optimization and the economical operation of our online-appearance. The connection established during your access to our website, Google is enabled to determine from which website your access has been sent and to which IP-address the display of the graphic elements are to be transmitted.

This website uses the map-service Google Maps via an API. Service-provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Maps is a commercial service, providing interactive maps for visually displaying geographic information. Using this service provides you with information on our location and simplifies your arrival at our company.
When accessing sub-sites, in which the interactive maps are embedded, information on your user activity on our website (e.g. your IP-address) will be transmitted to and stored on Google’s servers in the USA, regardless of an account provided by Google, that you are currently logged is. If you are logged in, your data will be assigned directly to that account. If you do not want the data to be assigned to your account, you have to log out before clicking the button. Google stores and evaluates your data (even, if you are not logged in). This evaluation is conducted especially due to Google’s legitimate interests in displaying personalized advertisements, market-analyses and / or the need-based design of it’s website.
